Ezekiel 40:45-47

⁴⁵ And he said to me, “This chamber with its face toward the south^[a] is for the priests who are taking care of the responsibility of the temple. ⁴⁶ And the chamber with its face to the north^[b] is for the priests who are taking care of the responsibility of the altar. They are the descendants^[c] of Zadok, the ones who approach from among the descendants^[d] of Levi to Yahweh to serve him.”

⁴⁷ And he measured the courtyard as to its length, a hundred cubits,^[e] and a hundred cubits^[f] wide, squared, and the altar is in front of^[g] the temple.
